There are a lot of success stories out there. This is a success story with a twist. The thesis of this book is that success is more than a result of personal ambition, intelligence, talent, or hard work. A more global look at success—standing back and looking at such factors as the community, family, access to resources, and even the birthdate of the individual—can illuminate the story of success in fascinating ways.
