really liked it
bookshelves: werewolves-and-vampires

I loved Meg Cabot's modern take on Dracula. She has plenty of references to the traditional tale as well as a good amount of funny criticism of the contemporary vampire crazy. I also really appreciated the fact the Meena takes issue with the way that most vampire tales revolve around a woman basically giving up everything for a man. I'm interested to see where Cabot will go with this tale in the next book.
