This was one novel I am glad I opened up because I enjoyed it immensely. The characters were ones that were so filled with passion and heart that you could not help but fall in love with them and watch as they fell in love.It also has enough suspense that it raced your blood and had you being the nest Sherlock trying to beat them to it so you could help them out. When Kate gets lost but in doing so ends up lending a hand in fixing because working with her hands is one thing she can do. She also acquires something her self that needs fixing with Butch getting the local mechanic and friend to lend a hand he insists she stay at his farm. Kate is full of spunk and knows her way around a building site but she does take a ribbing when she finds out just who he is. Rich blend of humor, love, and suspense thanks to his ex's dropping like flies. With a army on his side trying to uncover the answers, a bit of a cat and mouse game will be played with Kate. Between her job and his singing with those answers needed for those pesky murders you have indeed one read that will leave a dent or two in the palm of your hands. In a way too they are each others saving too with not being able to keep two hearts apart that wants to be one.
