What a fun ending to this sweet story. I love how Piggie gives a simple lesson on how to handle an issue with someone that is bothering you. Great lesson to children, “simple ask”. I think the illustrations have a lot for discussion on how the characters are feeling and what is going on in the story through the images. Great for younger readers and older readers to be reminded that the illustrations add what the text may not be telling you. The word bubbles are great for teaching younger children the who is the speaker in the text as well as showing the conversation that goes between the two characters. Geilser 2008 Winner
