Dead Girls Don't Blog
I won this book in a good reads giveaway. I thought from the title that it was going to be a fluffy, kind of goofy book. I also thought it'd be more computer-oriented, actual stuff about the blog. Katy is a bit of a goofy character, and she is technologically inept, but she's likable and interesting. The flashbacks to the murder are a surprisingly brutal contrast: they're detailed and very real feeling. It's not a book I would recommend for a lot of people, being sensitive about any violence they may have had in their lives (again, this is more of the real, could-happen-to-anyone variety, that may hit a little too close to home for some people). It's sad overall, if I think about it, the way lives are ruined and how some things unravel. But I was surprised to find that I liked her writing style (first book I've read by this author), and I immediately added the next book to my wishlist.
