To Rise Again at a Decent Hour
Oct 11, 2015
I don't know where I thought this book might go based on the synopsis I read. Definitely didn't see an exploration of religion and ancient peoples coming. So that part wasn't my favorite, but I did like Ferris' writing, entering the mind of Paul the dentist as he thinks about the most mundane and trivial things, his place in the world, and one's search for meaning in life. I could relate to some, some parts not at all. So I'd say I liked it but nothing more.
