really liked it
bookshelves: biography-memoire

Upon first reading Heartbreaking Work, I wondered exactly how much of a narcissist the writer must be (never having read any of Eggers writing before). I wondered how full of yourself you could be to write an autobiography at the age of 25 (give or take). Midway through the book, I wondered how self important he thought himself to be. Yet I couldn't put the book down. I couldn't put it away because the character (I cannot believe that is the real Eggers) was just so damn intriguing.
