Perfect for the horror crowd-- this crazy story about kids being sent to a place called the Furnace. A juvie hall miles underground where beastly creatures roam and lockdown drills are called as wheezers are let loose to mark your cells and drag you away in the middle of the night. It's an amped up story and the sequel is something I would definitely pick up.

Julie Suzanne Yikes. I can hardly remember what it was like to be interested in horror! This just seems awful, but so do horror movies. I'm so OLD. My teenage self would be horrified by me. :)

Alicia A teacher recommended it to me, kids have been requesting horror novels, and it seemed intriguing. It's actually pretty well written-- I will get the sequel. Invest in the time- if not, leave the book on your desk and I guarantee it will be snatched up!

The funny part it I felt old the other day when I was talking to a student and mentioned Kurt Cobain-- 90s grunge-- she had NO CLUE!
