4 1/2 Platypires for The Bollywood Bride by Sonali Dev

I received a free digital copy from Netgalley for an honest review.

Previously, I've read The Bollywood Affair by Sonali Dev so I was already a fan of the authors work. I knew she had a way with words that immediately sucks you in. No big surprise that The Bollywood Bride followed suit.
Off the bat I could tell it was gonna be a darker novel than the Bollywood Affair and I think that's what drew me in even more. Even though it was about a Bollywood starlet it was more realistic to me. Mental illness is not an easy topic to address especially in cultures where it's more of a taboo topic. I thought it was addressed very respectfully.
Bollywood Bride is mostly about family and reconnecting with a lost love. Omg! I just couldn't get enough. The freaking buildup was just beautiful that I really couldn't put this novel down. I was rooting for this couple throughout the whole story. *sigh
This was truly an enjoyable read and would recommend it to any romance fans.
