Hmmmmmm... Not really feeling the connection with these characters. Maybe it's because the entire story is told in Raina's POV and she's being controlled by her nether region? Tristan bluntly limits the extent of their relationship yet she thinks it's her business to know all of HIS business. In what reality does this happen? She mentions that things are casual between them multiple times to multiple people. She alludes to the fact that she could indeed be using him to her boss Tom. The true essence of casual is to go with the flow yet she's constantly thinking of how and when to ask him personal information. She even goes on fishing expeditions to glean this info from people she barely knows but they're his people. Who does that?

Maybe I should excuse these idiosyncrasies because this was a short novella as part of a trilogy. I don't know. What I do know is that I have heard the name Elsa enough times to be curious as to the story behind the woman. So I will be continuing this series. To be continued...
