really liked it
bookshelves: adult-fiction, animal, historical, young-adult, animal-fantasy-non-human

Second installment in the Wolf Chronicles series continues the story of the young wolf, Kaala, and her quest to bring wolves and humans together in the Wide Valley in order to save them all. A little slower than the first one, I was hoping to have the story wrapped up but, alas, it is a trilogy. Still compelling, with lots of questions unanswered and a cliff hanger ending. This book is in adult, but the series would do well for YA's and even stronger grade 6 readers who love the genre

SometimesIWonder I agree. Unless the final book does something different, this series could be read by kids who love reading, because when i was a kid of seven years old I read and understood Black Beauty.
