Will human society continue to be guided by the words of ancient gods or will increasing scientific knowledge eventually replace these traditions and serve to create a new morality? In The Moral Landscape, neuroscientist Sam Harris claims that advances in our understanding of the function of the brain will eventually allow for the creation of a new "science of morality".
