it was amazing

LOVED this story - Mark Bramhall MADE it this good. I saw a snippet of the movie after I read the book and listening to this one is the way to go - I would not have liked this story nearly as much. A mentally challenged adult son of a farmer and his wife, Todd McCray is an avid radio listener and when he hears that the local shelter has an 'Adopt a Dog for Christmas' campaign, return the dog Dec. 26, no strings attached, and Todd wants to call right now. His father's numerous dog-loss-caused broken heart makes Todd's campaign on his father a tough sell, but he and his mother win the battle.

At a Christmas gathering, a little family ribbing turns into a full-blown assault on the rest of the family to adopt a dog. And so it goes as Todd works to empty the shelter for Christmas.

This three CD audio book is so good, I picked up Christmas with Tucker today - Book 2, I believe, in this series.
