Sarah-Jayne Windridge-France This was one of those books steeped in warmth and humanity that will be in my head for some time. I totally warmed to the characters, but the heart and soul of the building and it's history appealed to me the most.

Sensory elements made this read both disturbing and insightful - and moreover it was very humbling.

You can't help dwelling on what a wonderful way to tell the story of a hotel, particularly as seen from the differing angles of its main characters. A real 'mind's eye. read.

Such a great premise for a book that far exceeded my expectations and made me want for more. The short continuation stories at the close of the book were the perfect afterword and whilst I haven't yet pursued the online offering - I intend to do just that.

A REALLY good read.
