it was amazing
bookshelves: battle-of-the-books-2011

This was a pretty exciting read. Probably the most realistic in terms of dealing with the emotions of real people that we've read so far in Battle of the Books.

It's about one summer night in June, when the tornado sirens start wailing. They've wailed in the spring and summer before. But this night will be much, much different for a couple of 12-year-old boys and their families.

I really loved this book. My daughter and I talked about it at length after we'd both finished reading it.
