She's done it again! Genova's Still Alice was a fantastic debut novel, and Left Neglected is just as good. Loved the first person narrative, the conflicts Sarah feels between work and family, and the medical information I learned. Love the inclusion of NEHSA at Mt. Sunapee which is near us (I even told one of my sons who loves to snowboard that he should work for them!). Sarah is a complex character with whom I could instantly connect and relate, and Genova's writing style details even ordinary events in a mesmerizing way. The extraordinary events are not dealt with in a titillating or gratuitous manner as some other authors have been wont to do. Anyone who texts or emails or calls on their cell phone when driving will think twice about ever doing it again after reading this book.

Kim OMG, Grady would be GREAT working for NEHSA! I didn't think of that.

Kelly I'm glad you agree. Once I read what they did, I thought Grady's personality would perfectly fit with their mission. I researched them because I found it so intriguing!
