really liked it
bookshelves: friendship, history, intense, spain, travel

Oh, what a lovely surprise reading this book! I would have never imagined me liking something like a mistery story, which is usually the kind of book I avoid. Actually, this is well written, and the mistery itself is interesting. I loved the characters, and even the bad ones are so particularly described that I imagined them clearly in my mind. Loved the idea of a place full of forgotten books and the secret you must hold when you are introduced in it. I loved Juliàn Carax and I would have really liked to read one of his books :P

Hayes I was pleasantly surprised by this one too. I usually don't like "Gothic" stories, but this one was perfect. Pulled me right into the story.
