really liked it

I really enjoyed this book. I think a lot of us have a "one summer" that we can remember. Maybe not quite as dramatic as this one, but I do remember having those crushes, the mystery of what being "older" was all about, and straddling that line between wanting to be a kid and wanting to be a teen. Tamaki and Tamaki capture it all perfectly.

Morgan Mariko has done at least one Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic too. Casey & April. I grabbed it off Netgalley, because YES.

oh MAN now I want to read that!!!

Morgan I want to go back and read the other volumes even though they are more TMNT focused, of course. The authors seem to vary a little, but I didn't look closely enough to see if the main author is the same and just the .5s are different.

This is the only one Mariko did the writing for though. But the art is great.
