Amaury's Hellion (Scanguards Vampires, #2) by Tina Folsom Big, strong, sexy vampire… sees a shrink? I can imagine if one has lived a couple of centuries or so one might have issues. And what a day! First, another employee murders the client he’s guarding, mix vigorously the fact that he feels others emotions, then sprinkle a tall would-be slayer with a mop of short curly blond hair into the mix—geesh. It’s enough to give one a migraine.

The mostly un-educated and street-savvy Nina spoke a little too well. She made connections with a leap of logic that, given her background, was a tad unbelievable. A few instances when Amaury called Nina “silly”, I was reminded of Twilight.

The story line was strong, a fun read (and now I get to read all about Gabriel, another dishy Scangards Vampire).
