Almah is Mosis's older sister who saves him when the soldiers come to kill him as a baby. She goes with the daughter of Rames to live in the palace to protect Mosis. She becomes a priestess of an Egyptian goddess, instead of the Hebrew God. She is a close friend for Mosis and tells the story leading up to the Exodus.
