No Logo is a diatribe against the trend of globalisation in general and multinational corporations in particular. Klein's main thesis is that nultinationals have become too big and powerful, without any corresponding increase in acccountability or responsibility. The consequence is an erosion of democratic processes, civil freedom and economic security. She foresees a global civil society backlash, which targets high-profile brands and exposes their misdemeanours.
