really liked it

As a fellow writer, and one who has spent a long time bashing her head against a wide variety of walls over its complications, this collection really sticks out to me. As always, the vivid language and honest power of the emotions it describes are the collection's real strengths, neatly unifying a fairly diverse bunch of topics and tones. I appreciate, particularly, how the poems can feel both personal to the author and universal to everyone - author or otherwise - who has ever been frustrated with the written word and all that's carried in it.

A must-read for the aspiring author, and a definitely-should for everyone else.
