it was amazing

I received this free from Netgalley for the purpose of review.

This was a great read - really fast paced and full of characters you really found yourself caring about. Rose is not your stereotypical investigator - brought up in a privileged family but going it alone for the last six years whilst dating a criminal kingpin.

I really loved the relationship dynamics she had with a couple of characters, namely Sullivan (boyfriend), her two best friends, Henry (bodyguard) and her boss at the PI agency, Andre or 'Hardass' as she liked to call him.

The plot moved along quickly and despite me guessing the culprit early on, I kept second guessing myself as we were taken on a story full of twists and turns.

The author writes such interesting characters and I would definitely consider reading more of her work - if only to see more Rose and Sullivan.

Really recommend it.
