A very interesting take on the serial killer as main character sub-genre. John Wayne Cleaver is not only obsessed with serial killers, he is worried that he is destined to become one. In order to avoid becoming a murderer he has created a series of rules to live by. When people start dying around him he must abandon these rules in order to catch the killer.

I found the rules and John's inner turmoil fascinating. I was a little disappointed when the nature of the killer was revealed, but this was also handled well. I am glad that it is the first in a series of titles featuring the young serial killer to be. It will be fun to watch him grow up.

MontiLee Stormer I enjoyed this one and Mr. Monster, the second book. Wells makes you remember in all its painful poignancy first love.

That's a rather romantic view of a serial killer, but still...

Michael I've already downloaded Mr. Monster, but I'm going to wait a bit before reading it.
