it was amazing
bookshelves: 2010, cultural-political
Read in December, 2010

I rate this an "important" book because it gives a beautiful in depth view of Turett's Syndrome. Icy is a young mountain girl from Kentucky who grows up in the 50's with this strange and unpredictable affliction. She is not diagnosed until adulthood. Her journey is treacherous and inspiring. A perfect way to end 2010.
