bookshelves: biography-biographical, early-mg, non-fiction, picture-book, ocean-sealife

A simple but informative look at the life of Jacques Cousteau. Fun illustrations and loved the quotes tucked in on the different pages.

Teresa Garrett This book is on the Texas Bluebonnet list. Brief bio that captures the essence of Jacques Cousteau. Kids did not believe that I actually had seen him on TV. Loved the illustrations. Another book on the Texas list: Down, Down, Down by Steve Jenkins makes a great companion book.

Alyson (Kid Lit Frenzy) I think I am going to have to look for this one on-line. Not having luck at local bookstores. And yes, I bet students wouldn't believe that we saw him on TV. :-)
