Rebecca is sent to live with her two aunts, to help them and in return receiver her education. A small lively girl changes the lives of her maiden aunts, bringing back love and laughter.

I love the way this book is written. In the old fashioned way, the story carries on. The thoughts and actions of Rebecca are foreign to our children today. Here they may get the feel of how life was for children years ago.

Written in a very similar way to Anne of Green Gables. If Anne and Rebecca ever met, the'd be kindred spirits!
