A Wedding in Springtime (Marriage Mart, #1)

This is not the best historical romance I've ever read but can be enjoyed. In fact, the book is well written but it confuses the reader to who are the MCs. There is not a clear main story but at least three small ones intertwined with one another that take in turn center stage. You don't feel like there's secondary and primary but everything has the same importance. Moreover there is more about preparing the ground for the next book (and, in doing so, I think unveiling a bit too much of the mystery?...because I can't be sure but it seems to me the villain...well) than telling this story. Maybe this could have more sense as a prequel novella to the current second book of the series?! But not much as a book on its own.
