How to Get What You Want
I have tried Raymond Hull's system before with great success but tend to quit just as it starts working for some reason. I'm going through the book slowly this time around and not moving on to the next chapter or exercise until I feel ready. I enjoy Hull's style and find his program both scientific (as opposed to other visualization programs that are a bit too new-agey for me) and spiritual. Some of his examples are a bit dated and show his age; feminists may have to overlook comments such as "before you can catch a husband, you must learn how to cook". These types of outdated comments can be a distraction from his main principles, which are quite solid, for the most part. Unfortunately, this book is out of print, but if you happen to come across it in a thrift shop I strongly recommend giving it a try. All you have to lose is a few minutes of time, and you can potentially gain a whole new life.
