A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)

I always tend to read the books first and then watch the movies - doing it the other way around was different to say the least. Obviously I knew what was going to happen, but I was still traumatized when Bran was pushed and they didn't know if he would live or die. I still disliked Cersei as much as I did in the movie - I can maybe understand why she is the way she is - but I still don't like her. I still rooted for Jon Snow - one of the best differences is that I'm putting the movie faces to their names - which means I have his beautiful face in my head when he's mentioned.
I did skip over the who's who and where was what, but I did find the story as interesting as if I didn't watch the movie -- so onto part 2 -- who knows what will happen next ;)
