The Greatest Generation is a well deserved honorific
I chose this book because I thought the premise of a great grandfather sharing the honor flight with his soldier great grandson was unique. The story grabbed me by the throat. "Thank you for your service" is so little to acknowledge the sacrifice of our military throughout the years. Thank you for sharing this story.
