it was amazing

Actually reminds me a little of The Name of the Rose, but the main characters are secular. A surprisingly well-written and gripping free/very cheap Kindle find

Hira Ahhh, I love that you compared it to "The Name of the Rose", which makes me want to read this book THAT much MORE!!! thanks :D

Bernadette Well, I thought the same but then THE NAME OF THE ROSE is a masterpiece, unlike THE HANGMAN'S DAUGHTER.
