Mortal Musings

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC but that does not colour my review in any way.
Alexandra is a Muse. She has been inspiring mortals for hundreds of years, and they never seem to appreciate her. Her current charge is an author. He is suffering from writers block because he is just not listening to her. She is ranting at him when suddenly he can see her.
Brett is staring at his usual blank computer screen. He has a deadline to meet but his mind is empty of stories. A beautiful woman dressed in nothing but clouds appears in his office, how did she get in, should he call the police , is she an escaped loony or is it him who's lost it?
Allie is suddenly in the human realm without a clue how to survive there. Brett doesn't know if he should help this woman or send her on her way.
This is a lovely fantasy romance. Its funny and emotional. The hero has just as much to learn as our heroine. Just totally different things. Great escapism.
