it was amazing

Read this over the Christmas holiday. 25 years afteer it was written (if you're counting). So flat-out impressed by Koontz' masterful creation of multi-character scenes and pov's. This novel is a guide on how to write dialogue and action with as many as six characters interacting in a single scene. A stunning example of craft, hands down. Five stars for this one on story craft alone.
