really liked it
bookshelves: shelf

I'm an RL Stine fan and grew up reading Goosebumps (which my sister collected) and Fear Street (which was my collection).

Don't Stay Up Late still has all the makings of a classic RL Stine novel-- the twists and turns of the story, as well as the cliffhanger at the end of each chapter.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the story is a bit more Goosebumps than Fear Street. Fear Street is supposed to be darker and scarier with all the murders and disturbing events in its plot lines but Don't Stay Up Late doesn't seem to meet that standard.

I do hope RL Stine will continue writing books for his new Fear Street series. As an avid fan, I'm really looking forward to that.
