** spoiler alert ** free from was just okay...very simple and straight forward.

in a way it just felt there was no consequence really to Todd's decision to be a reaper. He's dead, but he saved his bro, gets to see his mom, and have a job to do...and in a way, not be dead.

it maybe bad that he choose to be a reaper and do the reaper things..but it's not really that bad.

maybe it was just a novella and the show "dead like me" was a show, but that was so much better.

also, it felt very rushed near the end. most things were gleamed over and then ends. though the ending was satisfying, that he went against orders and reaped the person that killed him, but still felt rush. where's the repercussion? he gets to do whatever he wants? is there no rules for the dead, no rules for the reapers?
