liked it

The New York Times (and several of my friends) loved this book. I did not. It had no plot. Occasionally I laughed out loud, but for the most part I never really got that involved with the characters and I didn't think the book was very well written. Did I learn anything from this book? Maybe the difference between Mennonites and the Amish, but not much else. This book did not make me want to run out and get other Rhoda Janzen books.
