This has been a good book to read with my kids before bedtime. Each short chapter features a person from the Bible. Their strength or "heroic quality" is listed along with where to find them in the Bible. There is about a page and a half dedicated to their story along with a few follow-up discussion questions.

My boys are 5 and 8 and both did well with the stories and discussion. Sometimes I had to simplify a few words for my youngest, but the book did well at writing for a younger audience (5-10 or so).

The illustrations on the cover are similar to what you'll get throughout the book.

If you're looking for something to use as a devotional for your kids at bedtime, this would be a good one to add to your library.

Thank you Netgalley for a free digital copy in exchange for an honest review.
