Although Grisham has been played out for me, I picked this book up in desperation when I sailed through airport security much faster than expected, and needed some serious time wasting. However, this book was far more entertaining than expected. Rather than the traditional law oriented writing that has become pretty predictable, it was about a football player. Not a fan of American football, I was completely surprised with it's captivation and yes, even respect for a sport that I have mocked in the past. The story is somewhat inevitable, but has a very cool ending that leaves you thinking about it for a few days. Worth the couple hours of a quick read.
