really liked it
bookshelves: casual-reads

I searched for a Joseph Finder book in the library based only on the knowledge that he wrote spy novels, and this is what I found; what a pleasant surprise. As I read it in a day, I have to give it high marks for excitement. Although the plot is always a bit predictable in thrillers, the location here was unique, and the antagonists were not trying to strike a blow against the United States (refreshingly). I also enjoyed the first person narrative style, which is certainly different than the vast majority of books in this genre. The conclusion felt a little hurried, but if you are looking for entertainment, I recommend this as an option.
