it was amazing
bookshelves: fantasy, young-adult
Read from April 09 to 12, 2017 , read count: 2

I originally read this many years ago as a child.

This is one of my favorites in the entire series. It is the creation and beginning of Narnia. It ties so much of the story together and really lets you know who and what the queen is. And just how powerful Aslan is.

Meet Diggory and Polly as the journey to other worlds. The forest of pools is amazing and I wish we got to see some of the other worlds!I love these two characters. From their attic explorations, to naive child-like mistakes. And the uncle of Diggory is one nasty piece of work! I think I liked him less than Jardis.

It is a short story and moves fairly quick for the first half. It does slow down more on the second half as there are more details to take in and explain. ANd yet it is more crucial in it's lessons and linking to the other stories of the series. And I loved every minute of it.

Alexander Draganov the first Narnia book I read! Magical, although LWW is even better!
