it was amazing

This book is well written and exceptionally researched. Takes a look at many aspects of the Civil War and it's imapact: upon culture, shifts in the North and South based on success and failures of the armies during the conflict, fractions within Government and armies of the North and South, leadership styles of Lincoln and Davies, specifics on key battles, look at Eastern and Western theater, brutal skirmishes in Kansas, battle of the Navies, Confederates attempt to attract support of England and France, impact upon economy, common people, prisoners......................
