4.5/5 for me. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this series. Other than the fact that I found Sebby abusive (I don't care how it's sugarcoated as a way for her to survive in his world, I do not condone any forms of abuse), I liked how loyal and devoted they both were to each other.

Overall, this series gave me what I wanted. Blood and guts, suspense/thrills, and the idea that love and light will triumph in the face of evil, hate and darkness.
