ROMANCE REQUIREMENT- This book was really well done, as all of L'Engle's books are. Flip's mother has died, and her father (who she loves) and his girlfriend (who she hates)send her off to boarding school while he travels around as an artist. While at the school, Flip meets Paul, a boy who can remember nothing of his past except for the snatches that come to him from the concentration camp he was held in during the war. This story is a romance, but it doesn't have the sappiness or the scandalousness of a lot of romances out there. I would recommend this to most teen girls--- even though it's an old book, it's one today's teenagers can relate to.
