This is a fantastic book to use when discussing the accomplishments of Martin Luther King, Jr. Many children look at MLK as a hero and overlook the struggles that he had to face to get where he was. This book reminds us that King was a real man, born and raised in a close family. This is a great tool to use to portray the human aspects of King.
