it was ok
bookshelves: read-in-2011

The book was little hard for me to finish. from the main summary on here and the cover I was thinking that it was going to be a light read with a little bit of lover and mystery. I thought okay teenage girls gets separated from her parents and has to figure out way. Little did I know the book was about a 10 year old and based in 1941. I liked the idea of the book but the characters I just could not stand. It seemed like I had to be in the same age group just to get through the book. It is not that it is a bad book by any means just not something I can relate to anymore. Like I said it did have interesting parts but in whole just a meeh book in my eyes.
