it was amazing

The Rivers Run Dry is the second in Giorello's series with FBI agent Raleigh Harmon. Raleigh is living in Seattle now with her mother and crazy aunt and working on the case of a missing college girl, who no one is really sure is missing. Her parents, being rich, assume someone kidnapped her and use all their clot to get the FBI to take it seriously.
Raleigh's expertise in forensic geology and her stubborn, never give up attitude, helps her solve cases, but also tends to get her in trouble with her superiors.
Raleigh's inbred southern charm is like sandpaper rubbing her fellow agents the wrong way. Her boss hates that she keeps calling him "Sir" all the time.
I love Giorello's characters and her descriptive writing. She is a terrific storyteller and suspense builder. I look forward to the next in the series.
