Likable but vapid tale about a high school-aged girl who wishes for a "fair day" and has her wish come true--resulting in her taking an unscheduled field trip in a stolen car with three friends. They have breezy unremarkable adventure which results in the uncovering of predictable secrets.

The characters were vivid and lifelike as was most of the dialog--there was some "cowboy" talk that left me scratching my Stetson--and the novel never throws anything remotely dislikable in the reader's direction.
