really liked it
bookshelves: chronological-order, imagination, repetition

This book is very similar to There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly. This is also a great book to have students sequence the events that occurred in the story. There is a lot of repetition throughout the entire book. The monster, just like the old lady, eats different things. The monster at the end of this story is eaten by a lion rather than eating the lion.
