it was amazing
bookshelves: math, skepticism, media, statistics, 2012

Excellent book on how politicians, the media, and others twist statistics to support the story they want to tell. The examples given are infuriating; Seife clearly explains why the statistics people use are wrong, and how everything from the justice system to democracy itself is undermined. I appreciate that Seife takes examples from both sides of the political spectrum, making sure that readers don't dismiss the book or examples as propaganda.
